There are experiences that cannot be observed from the outside. They have no frame, no distance, no seat from which to contemplate them safely.
Fields is an ambient and glitch album conceived as the other body of a virtual reality experience of the same name. The same space, inhabited in two different ways. It doesn’t illustrate the VR, and the VR doesn’t illustrate it: both are the same thing expressed in different registers.
Five pieces built as sonic architectures that don’t describe emotions — they build them. Textures that don’t accompany a landscape: they generate the conditions for inhabiting one.
This isn’t an album you listen to from the outside. It’s somewhere you enter.
